Hi:
Yesterday I was in Madison and stopped by Steve's Liquor. Two of your brews were displayed and seeings how I'm am all about Wisconsin beer I thought I'd give Night Train a try. Hot Damn. This could just be the best beer I have ever had. I salute you on this fine beer. I'll be looking for more of your products here in Delavan, WI. Thank you.

Hi Mark and Katina and everyone at O'so Brewing,
Thanks for the beer!
I'm glad to see you doing well and making good beer (tho the first couple of batches I tasted down here were iffy); call me converted!
Years back I was very happy to be a customer of yours at the original PBS when my sales route took me through Stevens Point and I hope to visit the brewery at some point (when I get a day or two off!)
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I liked the Jack's Lantern (drink it at room temp!!!!) and the Lupulin Maximus (I bought it for the hop cone) is really really good, and not hugely bitter (but it is very hoppy). Unfortunately the O'toberfest went so quickly I didn't get a chance to buy a six pack! That's a good problem to have I guess (I was able to taste it) and the press in the Isthmus didn't hurt either.
Looking forward to many years of great beers!
Cheers, David

I got chance to try your "Black Scotch" today. This was an excellent scotch ale! I fell in love with McEwan's years ago, but nobody carried it. The Pig in Mayville carries Kiltlifter - which is very good, but pricy. I happened to make one pass in the hopes of another scotch ale and there you were...we were made to be together! |
O'so has some solid year round beers but the beer I think is going to put them on the map is Night Train Porter. A big dark beer with a deep chocolate/coffee noise. I am not a fan of porters but I really like this beer because it drinks more like a really creamy ale and I find that some porters have a real bitter finish but Night Train doesn't. Night Train is very drinkable and flavorful. Nerd City looks forward to O'so Brewing Company's contribution to the craft beer scene and if your Wisconsin keep an eye for them you can't miss their tap handles. Till next time, Cheers! http://nerdcityonline.com/search/drinks/ |
Hello! |
Oso Brewmaster,
Belgian Dark is absolutely fabulous! It is my favorite currently. If at all feasible, you should consider adding Belgian Dark to your regular roles, and continue sending kegs to Shawano, please.
Thanks for the great beers!

Hi Katina and Mark,
Really appreciate your time today and you coming in early to accomodate us! We all had a blast and truly enjoyed your beer! It just proves to me once again beer people are the coolest people around and I'm really glad we got to meet you. I will proudly wear my super sized black T-shirt and hopefully spread the word about your beer! I hope to bring my family up in the near future. You can bet I'll be calling you in advance, so I know you will be there. Best of luck in your growth and sucess.
If you could email exactly how your twitter account is that way we can spread the word of your coolness :) that would be awesome |

Marc,
This week my wife and I took a friend to Jennings Brew Pub where we enjoyed the Oso Hops, (nice flavor)then headed east to Anchor Bay for dinner first wetting the appetite with a mild bottle of Oso.
I missed seeing a small sign and a coaster with your logo -something to catch people at the bar. Business people realize competing with the big boys is tough. Think about getting bids from various sign companies; priced to more then cover cost; then ask each establishments to purchase one, fee tol be refunded when their total business reaches a decent return on your investment. Everyone enjoys a challenge, moving a micro forward is only one of them.

Dear Marc, |
Hello Marc: |
Hi Guys, It was a very nice surprise to see your brewery at the Ice Cold in Minocqua. There was alot of buzz about the "new brewery" and I can honestly say you were a hit. Do you have a tasting room or pub on-site? We'd love to take a road trip to see your operation. Congrats on your recent success and good luck in the future. Cheers! Bill Summers GNBF Committee |
Hello: just discovered your beer, almost by accident. It's pretty good. But, you know that already. Are you hiring? Could be a "taster" Or Seriously, I am good at shipping and warehousing. Anyway, Good luck in the future And thank god For small breweries!!! Kind regards, Brad |
After tasting a few of your offerings may just let the home brew equipment just keep getting dusty in the basement! really liked the big O and hopdinger (now on tap at our favorite watering hole (HollyRocks in Rapids) I also have tasted the special belgian style good too hope to see more of your products in our area Also your Big O has help make my wife a convert to 'real' beer
good luck Buzz |
Hey Marc! Haven't talked to you in a while (this is Willie - the kid who got too drunk at last years May brew club meeting/graduation party and had to sleep on your couch) but I just wanted to say congrats on the finishing of O'so and all the hard work that has paid off! I can't wait to get back up there and visit you guys and taste the brews! Just to let you know, I did stop in at the Wine and Hop shop (I know, I'm sorry) to get a new airlock, and the service did not even compare to the friendly, helpful service you and Tina gave me at Point Brew Supply. As a result, I have not been back, and even though it means a much longer drive, I am committing my patronage solely to Point Brew Supply! On a different note, I wish I would have been able to take time out to go to the brew club meetings. Oh well, maybe next semester. I hope all else is well with you and hopefully I'll be able to stop by in the next upcoming weeks. Happy brewing! Willie Szmanda |
