In this post, we’re excited to introduce you to our core lineup of beers—the flagship brews that define who we are. You’ll get a quick breakdown of each beer's style, ABV, standout ingredients, and a bit of its backstory.

Whether you're new to O’so or a longtime fan, consider this your go-to guide for our year-round favorites.

🍻 Haze Positive – Hazy IPA (6.2% ABV)

We’re kicking things off with Haze Positive, our house Hazy IPA and the newest addition to our core lineup, replacing the beloved Hop Snack. Years of IPA experimentation and refinement led us to this juicy masterpiece.

Style: Hazy IPA
ABV: 6.2%
Hops: Dry-hopped with Citra
Yeast: Omega Helio Gazer
Tasting Notes: Juicy, tropical, hazy perfection

Available on tap throughout Wisconsin and in 12 oz cans.

🍋 Infectious Groove – Kettle Sour Blonde Ale (3.9% ABV)

Infectious Groove hit the scene in 2016, just as kettle sours were gaining popularity. It quickly rose to become one of the top-selling sour six-packs in Wisconsin, and it remains a fan favorite today.

Style: Kettle-Soured Blonde Ale
ABV: 3.9%
Flavor: Light, crisp, with lemon notes
Process: Wheat beer base, soured overnight in the kettle, then boiled to halt fermentation

This beer has seen many fun fruit variations over the years—including Raspberry Groove, Blackberry Groove, and even the cult-favorite Brawndo.

🌒 Night Rain – Oatmeal Porter (6.8% ABV)

First brewed in 2007 during our inaugural year, Night Rain began its journey under the name Night Train. It started as a Robust Porter and eventually inspired its bolder sibling, Convenient Distraction.

Style: Oatmeal Porter
ABV: 6.8%
Flavor: Smooth with notes of cocoa, caramel, and roasted malt
Mouthfeel: Rich and velvety thanks to the oats

☕ Convenient Distraction – Imperial Coffee Porter (9.8% ABV)

Born from Night Rain, Convenient Distraction takes things to the next level. Brewed with Ruby Roasters coffee and Madagascar vanilla beans, this Imperial Porter has been featured in beer clubs nationwide and remains one of our most sought-after seasonal releases.

Style: Imperial Porter
ABV: 9.8%
Flavor: Deep coffee richness with smooth vanilla finish
Notable: A hit in national rare beer clubs and beer-of-the-month features

Available in 16 oz cans and on tap statewide.

🍊 The Big 2.O – American Wheat Beer (4.6% ABV)

A true O’so classic, The Big 2.O earned a Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in 2015. It's one of our most consistent year-round beers, offering an easy-drinking wheat experience with a citrus twist. We love it so much that we use it in our pizza dough at our Amore restaurant.

Style: Wheat Beer
ABV: 4.6%
Flavor: Light and refreshing, with a hint of sweet orange peel
Awards: GABF Gold Medal Winner – 2015
