The Secret to our O'so Delicious Pizza

What Makes O'so Pizza O'so Amore?


O'so began our pizza journey just a few years ago in 2022, and we’ve quickly become one of our community’s favorite places to enjoy delicious, handmade pizza right here in Plover, Wisconsin. As of this month, we’re closing in on nearly 1,400 pizzas a month—and growing!


So, what’s our secret?


It might sound cheesy (pun intended), but it’s true: our pizzas are made with love. That’s the O’so Amore way.


It All Starts With Fresh, Handmade Dough


Every pizza begins with our handmade dough, crafted fresh five days a week. A unique piece part of our dough, is that we use only beer, no water in the recipe. Our dough mixer cranks out enough for over 100 pizzas at a time, and we carefully hand-shape each dough ball to a precise 400 grams. This ensures that every crust is consistent—so every time you order, you know what you're getting.


Sauce Done Right, Every Time


Next up: our signature sauces. Whether you’re a fan of our classic marinara, our smoky BBQ, or our creamy ranch base, each sauce is precisely measured for the perfect balance of flavor and consistency. It’s all part of our commitment to delivering a perfect bite, every time.


Locally-Sourced Cheese That Melts Just Right


Our cheese is sourced from a local farmer’s co-op in Burnett, Wisconsin—delivered fresh and diced just for us. We go through over 250 pounds of cheese every week, with each pizza receiving a generous 12 ounces of gooey, melty goodness.


Want to customize? No problem! We also offer light cheese, extra cheese, and dairy-free options.


Toppings That Go All the Way to the Edge


Toppings matter. That’s why we treat each pizza with care—spreading ingredients edge to edge using our classic Chicago-style square cut. Many pizza places focus toppings toward the center, especially on thicker crusts or traditional triangle slices. But not us.


At O'so, every bite matters. And when you order a supreme pizza, you should never get a plain cheese slice in the mix. That’s our philosophy.

No Skimping. Ever.


Whether we’re using our pre-measured toppings (packed here by hand) or counting ingredients by hand, our goal is the same: consistency, quality, and flavor in every pizza. We don’t cut corners (except into delicious little squares).


You Choose the Cook


Want your pizza crispy or extra crispy? You’re in control:

  • Regular – 4 minutes

  • Crispy – 4.5 minutes

  • Well Done – 5 minutes

We recommend at least crispy for pizzas with four or more veggie toppings, but the choice is yours. Personally, I go well done every time.
